NIGHTCRIER MUSIC has released the first CD from rock band
SWEET CRYSTAL on itís independent music label solely on the Internet. Taking
advantage of the web's worldwide reach, the CD entitled 'STILL STANDING'
has been gathering accolades and airplay from such diverse locales as the
Netherlands, Germany and New Zealand. Recorded and produced at the new
facility in Dearborn Heights, the international acceptance and growing
requests for the music has been a pleasant surprise to all the band members.
"We're pleased that there
is an audience who still desire strong melodic content in the music as
well as the more positive direction in the lyrics." explains guitarist
Bill Blatter in a recent interview for the Dutch rock magazine/website

(Steve Wieser, drummer) and I have put a lot of ourselves into this and
are very pleased with what we have accomplished."
Airplay and supportive reviews
from such Internet powerhouse stations as Germany's "Munich's Hardest Hits"
(http://www.munichshardesthits.com) and New Zealandís "Heart Of The Rock"
(www.heartoftherock.com) spur Internet orders for "Still Standing" from
such diverse places as Austria and Staten Island. "People have downloaded
sample songs from MP3.com and then go on to our website (www.sweetcrystal.com)
to order the CD." continues Q, "and, as with our first release 'Power-N-Glory',
we give a portion of all sales to a variety of charitable organizations
that the buyer can choose on the website."
Next for the band, NIGHTCRIER
MUSIC is compiling a crew of local professionals to produce the first video
in support of the CD.
